What do we do? - Support for the Yerevan University Hospital CF Centre
Cystic Fibrosis Worldwide was once again able to use our partners to establish a CF Centre in the Yerevan University Hospital. Project CURE loaded a 40 X 40 foot crate with hospital beds, furnishings, treadmills, exercise bikes, computers and various clinical supplies and Counterpart International shipped them to Yerevan. Wescor donated two diagnostic machines and many people in the US donated CF specific clinical supplies to help in supporting the development of the CF Centre. The centre will have two inpatient rooms, one outpatient room and a physiotherapy centre. Through our partners we were also able to donate additional furnishing and supplies to the Children's ward at the Hospital and established an ongoing alliance with The University Hospital and Counterpart International to deliver
additional supplies to the hospital in coming months.
