Slovakia adopted CF guidelines!
KatarĂna Ĺ tÄ›pánková reported some very promising news from Slovakia. On the 20th of December 2010 the Slovakian Ministry of Health adopted the Professional guidance about care of CF patients. This is a small victory after 6 years of very active lobbying. This document is based on the European consensus guidelines and is the first important officially adopted document about CF in Slovakia. Now we can start the process of finding the deficiencies of this document and its practical use. It is not perfect, but it is certainly an important step. |
