Information about Social Campaign
6th POLISH CYSTIC FIBROSIS

 This is the sixth edition of
Polish social campaign, which aim is to build awareness of cystic fibrosis. It is an annual
systematic social action.
Although the name of this disease is better and better associated
with its proper meaning, we would like to provide the society with further information about this
complicated disease and its consequences. Like every year, all interested people will be able to
consult the doctor through the telephone, learn about CF and the life of CF patient. The theme of
this action is “Cystic Fibrosis – life – threatening inherited
disease. I want to live as long as possible”.
One element of this social information
action is a major education campaign: 8000 boards and 35000 leaflets at schools, kindergartens,
hospitals, universities, students houses and schools of young parents (schools of bear). Other
elements of this social action are for example telephone diagnoses of doctors, website with all
information, telephone duty, informations for press, TV/ radio, special emissions, occasionally
postcard and special postal seal.
The main goal of this annual social action is to increase
awareness of the CF.
