Reaching CF Patients in Palestine and Gaza
 The only long term solution to the management of cystic fibrosis amongst Palestinians is to create sustainable treatment, access to necessary medication/equipment and to educate medical professionals, patients and the community about this life threatening disease. Because of the many restrictions and poverty existing within Palestine and Gaza, there must be international intervention and support to reach these patients and keep them from dying unnecessarily in early childhood. Continued spread of education and genetic testing can help families decrease the number of children born with CF and other genetic diseases. In the foreseeable future, improved health care services in Palestine territories will help strengthen Arabic communities and enable a better quality of life for all Palestinians.
You can help CFW and support the patients, medical professionals and volunteers now working to improve the lives of people who are born with CF in Palestine and Gaza. We are raising funds to purchase clinic and patient necessary equipment, educate medical professionals and network to support access to necessary medication. |
