My brother, Rick, had Cystic Fibrosis, but unfortunately he died last year. My father has always been active with CFW, doing so many good things for people who suffer from CF. For this reason, I told him that if there is anything I could do, that I would love to. I think that the spread of information and the awareness of CF in the world are very important. I hope I will be able to provide this. Being able to provide this Newsletter was not an easy task for me, since I don’t have any experience doing this. I have deep respect for my predecessor Samantha Hillyard, who has done an amazing job as the editor of the Newsletter. That is why I would like to tribute my first Newsletter to her. During the conference in Birmingham, I met a lot of people and this was amazing. A lot of people offered me their help. I would like to thank everyone. I would like to point out my special gratitude to the Assistant Editors; Georgia Brown, Dace Shugg, Malina Boone, Jill Weinstein and my father, Herman Weggen. Over the years, CFW has changed a lot. New ideas were
born and projects were developed. In this newsletter you can read about
some of them. For any other suggestions or recommendations, please let me know as well: Wishing you well,
