E-card to fight CF
Ukraine -- On March 1, 2005, the All-Ukrainian
Pediatric Congress presented the Ukrainian CF Society with a check for
6000 euros. Solvay and CFW raised funds when Internet users clicked
on an electronic card on the CFW website. The Ukrainian CF Society used
the funds to purchase diagnostic tools to promote CF diagnostic testing
in the Ukraine.
This fundraiser is a continuation of Solvay Pharma initiative to collect
funds for Cystic Fibrosis societies around the world. Solvay’s
voluntary initiatives and contributions, (i.e. financial, in-kind donations,
expertise, etc), continue to make a difference to millions of needy
people worldwide.
Solvay and CFW wish to thank all of the CFW web site visitors and friends
who helped by clicking the “E-card to fight CF.”
