On June 1, 2005, the first CF clinic was opened in the city of Tbilisi in Georgia at M. Iashvili Children’s Central Hospital. One of the primary aims of CFW is to bring better health to PWCF who live in developing countries.

This unique event was attended by two people from the Ministry of Health in Georgia and representatives of the CFW community including Herman Weggen, the President of CFW, and Christine Noke, the program Director of CFW. The new clinic will be staffed with doctors, CF nurses, a physiotherapist and dietician. In the next phase of the project they will receive further special training.
Here are some images from this event, which was publicised in the Georgian Media and attended by parents of children with CF who will be getting benefits from this development.
