Second CFW Golf Tournament dedicated to the Implementation of the CF clinic in Tbilisi in Georgia

Previous Golf Tournament on October 2003 In October 2003 the Gentlemen's society Heerensocieteit van Etten tot Leur organized a Golf Tournament together with Charity and Sport and Cystic Fibrosis Worldwide. Euro 20,000 was raised during this daylong event.

The Heerensocieteit van Etten tot Leur has agreed to partner with CFW in hosting the CFW Annual Golf tournament again this year on October 22, 2004 The second annual CFW Celebrity Golf Tournament will be held at the Wouwse Plantage Golfcourse in the Netherlands.

We are also proud to announce that many flights have been sold to local businesses. Each flight will be accompanied by a special Dutch celebrity. For more information about this event, please contact our office at info@cfww.org.

The money raised during this second CFW Golf Tournament will support the second phase of the Implementation of the CF clinic in Tbilisi.

Lisa Bentley and Tracey Richardson come from opposite sides of the world and are at either end of the athletic spectrum, one an elite professional athlete with 6 Ironman wins to her name and the other a "back of the pack age grouper". Yet both theses two women are powered by a passion and a shared clear, simple vision; both will be competing at the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii on Oct 16th...to help find a CURE for Cystic Fibrosis! Our friend Burke is busier than ever!

Burke P. Bear was named after an incredibly spirited young man, Burke Derr, who died of Cystic Fibrosis (CF) just two days before his 19th birthday. Although his family in the USA miss Burke terribly, they believe his spirit and legacy lives on in the bear, which is helping raise research money to find a cure for the disease which took Burke's life.

Every Bear sold brings us closer to better care for people with Cystic Fibrosis in developing countries.
